In celebration of Whole School Curriculum Day (WSCD), Year 7 embarked on an enchanting journey to Wisley, where they were treated to a day filled with exploration and discovery amidst the beauty of nature. Led by dedicated staff members, the students were guided through the lush gardens, immersing themselves in a variety of engaging activities.

As they wandered through Wisley's breath-taking landscapes, students were captivated by the vibrant flora and diverse ecosystems. Guided tours led them through winding paths paths, providing opportunities to observe and learn about a wide array of plant species. A highlight of the day was the visit to the greenhouse, where students marvelled at exotic plants and learned about the importance of conserving biodiversity.

Throughout the day, Year 7 also participated in a rotation of activities blending art and geography. Armed with their workbooks, students sketched the natural beauty surrounding them, capturing the essence of Wisley's gardens through their artistic interpretations. These hands-on experiences allowed students to deepen their understanding of geographical concepts while fostering creativity and appreciation for the environment.

Despite the excitement of the day, the students demonstrated exemplary behaviour, showing respect for their surroundings and enthusiasm for learning. Their engagement was palpable as they absorbed knowledge from their surroundings and interacted with their peers and teachers.

The trip to Wisley for WSCD had been a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on the students and reinforcing the value of experimental learning in nature.
