School Direct:  A new way to train as a teacher.

 

Tolworth Girls’ School has been awarded 11 School Direct ITT places for 2012/13. These are in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and MFL.

 

This is the new route into teacher training and is receiving a considerable amount of government encouragement. We will be working in very close partnership with Kingston University School of Education.

 

One of the significant differences is that candidates make direct applications to the school involved. We will then interview along side colleagues from Kingston University.
