Dear Parent/Carer
I am writing to confirm the arrangements for Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form given the new information that was announced by the Prime Minister last night. We are confident that we will be able to provide a timetable for our students that will continue to provide outstanding educational opportunities as well as providing support for our students with SEND and working with our students on their Mental Health and Wellbeing.

Advice to All Parents - Single Case

We have been advised by Public Health England that there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the school. We know that you may find this concerning but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England. Year 7 Parent/Student Virtual Consultation Evening - Tuesday 15 December 2020

We are writing to invite you to the Year 7 Parent/Student Consultation Evening on Tuesday 15 December 2020 from 3.30pm until 6.15pm. During this evening, you will have the opportunity to meet virtually with a selection of your daughter’s subject teachers to discuss her work, attitude and progress.

Last Day of Term Update

Dear Parent/Carer, I wanted to write to you about an email that schools received yesterday from the Department for Education (DfE) and the subsequent press coverage. The email is suggesting that schools can choose to put an INSET day on Friday 18 December 2020 and close on Thursday 17 December 2020.

Year 9 Attitude to Learning Report

As you will be aware, this is the first cohort at Tolworth Girls’ School & Sixth Form to begin their GCSE courses from September of Year 9. Students have now successfully completed the first half term of their new GCSE courses and we are eager to keep you up to date with how well they have transitioned.

The confirmed dates for the Year 11 mock exams period is from Tuesday 8 December to Thursday 17 December inclusive.The master exam timetable for this period is attached to this letter. Your daughter will also be receiving her individual timetable shortly, which will list the specific exams she is sitting over this period.

Girls on Board

I am writing to inform you of an exciting initiative we have invested in which we feel will support our students in dealing effectively with peer issues in school. The Girls On Board programme focuses on educating girls around the different dynamics that exist between girls, and how best to manage challenging relationships, to ensure that they can be happy and successful in school.
