Year 7 WSCD - PSHE Day

As part of the Whole School Curriculum Day on Friday 27 May 2022. Year 7 are currently working on a PSHE programme in tutorial. This curriculum day will cover the following:
 The bystander effect
 Association
 Community spirit

Year 7 Fundraising for Lepra

A representative from Lepra gave a virtual presentation to the students this week about their work to beat leprosy. This opportunity gives students the chance to partake in a fundraising project whilst making a make a real difference to the lives of others, specifically the millions of people affected by leprosy.

Year 7 Alton Towers Residential Trip

I am writing to you about an exciting opportunity that will be on offer to Year 7 students. The pastoral team for Year 7 will be offering students the opportunity to have a residential trip to Alton Towers resort and water park. This will be an overnight trip from Thursday 30 June to Friday 1 July 2022.

Head Lice

The incidents of head lice and their eggs (nits) appears to be on the increase in the Kingston area, particularly within school communities.
You are strongly advised to check your own child's hair using a fine toothed nit comb (available from a chemist shop). Head lice, as you know, do not differentiate between hair length and hair cleanliness or age and are very easily spread.
