We are delighted to invite students and their families to our Sixth Form Open Evening on Tuesday 13 October 2026, from 5.30pm to 7.00pm in the Sixth Form Centre at Tolworth Girls’ School & Sixth Form (TGS).
If you already know TGS well, you may think you know what to expect. However, Sixth Form offers a very different experience, with greater independence, exciting new opportunities and a wide range of pathways to help students prepare for their future.

As part of our ongoing commitment to enriching the educational experience for our students, we ask for your generous support through the Year 12 & Year 13 Sixth Form common room fee. This voluntary contribution is a vital part of enhancing the student experience at Tolworth Sixth Form.
It helps fund equipment, educational supplies, visiting speakers, careers support activities and other enrichment projects that cannot be met through government funding.

We are delighted to open our doors in late September to prospective parents/carers as they make the important decision of choosing their daughter’s secondary school. The success of our Open Evening depends on the involvement and enthusiasm of our students whoare always excellent ambassadors for Tolworth Girls’ School & Sixth Form. We expect all Sixth
Form students to take part as tour guides, welcoming prospective families and leading them on tours of the school.

We are pleased to offer an opportunity for you to purchase CGP revision materials at a discounted price via the school. These are highly recommended resources that provide support for students both throughout the year and during exam preparation. Previous students have found this book extremely helpful in consolidating their understanding and preparing effectively for exams.

We are writing to request that any students wishing to sit a GCSE in a home language at Tolworth Girls’ School & Sixth Form (TGS) indicate their interest in doing so by Friday 25 September 2026. This also applies to anyone wishing to re-sit English and Maths who has already achieved a 4+.
We want to avoid any students sitting a home language in Year 13 as we know this can disrupt their other public examinations.
