A Level and Vocational Results 2026
A huge congratulations to our Year 13 students on their A Level and Level 3 Vocational results. A testament to their hard work, determination and dedication.
This year, nearly half of all A Level entries were graded A* to B, while three quarters achieved grades A* to C. Our Level 3 Vocational students also achieved excellent outcomes, with two thirds of grades awarded at the highest Distinction and Distinction* levels.
These results reflect the commitment and resilience of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the invaluable support provided by parents and carers. The Sixth Form's inclusive and supportive culture is at the heart of everything we do, and the progress made by our students over the past two years has been made possible through the strong partnerships we have built with them and their families.
As a comprehensive Sixth Form within an Ofsted Outstanding school, we are proud to provide transformational opportunities for students with a wide range of prior attainment at GCSE. This year's results reflect our school's values and ethos: Aim High, Be Brave and Create Positivity.
Our strong results, combined with extensive pastoral guidance and careers support, have enabled a significant number of students to progress to ambitious academic and vocational pathways. The majority will be attending their first-choice university or vocational training provider.
Students leaving us this year are embarking on a wide range of exciting opportunities. Many have secured places at leading universities, including several prestigious institutions such as the University of Oxford, University of Exeter, University of Bristol, University College London, University of Warwick, University of Nottingham, University of Manchester, King's College London, Cardiff University and the University of Bath.
Our students are also progressing to a number of other excellent destinations, including Loughborough University, Lancaster University, Royal Holloway, University of London, City St George's, Kingston University, Bournemouth University, Nottingham Trent University, the University of Surrey and SOAS University of London.
They will be studying an impressive and diverse range of subjects, including Dental Therapy, Optometry, Civil Engineering, Ancient History, Classics and the Ancient World, Acting, Cyber Security, Journalism, Art and Fashion Management, Law, Politics and International Relations, Psychology, Communication and Media, Accounting and Finance, Architecture, Chemistry, Business Management, Early Childhood Education and Product Design Engineering.
In addition to university study, an increasing number of students are choosing vocational routes, such as RADA and many have secured highly competitive apprenticeships in fields including economics and education that combine valuable workplace experience with professional qualifications, providing an excellent foundation for future careers.
We are very proud of every single one of our students' chosen destinations this year. They have shown the resilience, work ethic and positivity that reflects the ethos of our Sixth Form and we wish them every success as they begin the next stage of their journeys.
Best wishes for a bright and successful future!
