Tolworth Girls School Sixth Form Results 2025
A huge congratulations to our Year 13 students on their A level and Level 3 Vocational Results, which are a testament to their hard work and dedication. 43% of all A levels were graded A* to B and 74% A* to C. Level 3 Vocational results were also very strong with 46% of grades being at the top ‘Distinction’ and ‘Distinction*’ grades and 85% at a Merit or better.
The upward trend in results from last year reflect the effort, hard work and commitment of students and staff as well as the invaluable support from parents and carers.
The Sixth Form’s inclusive and supportive culture is at the heart of everything we do and the progress made over the last two years of study is only possible because of the strong bonds that have been fostered with students and their families. We are a comprehensive Sixth Form in an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school, providing transformational opportunities for students with a range of prior attainment at GCSE and the results reflect the positive ethos of our school: Aim High, Be Brave and Create Positivity.
The strong results combined with the continuous pastoral and careers support means that we have a large number of students progressing to further academic and vocational pathways and the majority will attend their first-choice university or vocational training provider.
Students leaving us this year are embarking on a wide range of exciting academic and vocational opportunities. Many have secured places at top-tier universities, including several prestigious Russell Group institutions such as the University of Warwick, University of Nottingham, University of Exeter, University of Manchester, King’s College London and Cardiff University.
Our students are also heading to a number of other excellent destinations, including Loughborough University, Aberystwyth University, Bournemouth University, Central Film School London, Nottingham Trent University and the University of Surrey.
They will be studying a broad and diverse range of subjects. These include Art and Fashion Design, Medicine, Law, Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE), Psychology, Communication and Media, Diagnostic Radiography, Finance, Pharmacology, Animal Therapy, Sport and Exercise Science, Mechanical Engineering, Global Design Engineering, Architecture, Biochemistry, Business Management and Film Production.
In addition to university study, an increasing number of students are choosing vocational routes. Many have secured highly competitive apprenticeships that combine hands-on experience with professional qualifications, opening doors to exciting future careers.
We are very proud of the resilience, work ethic and achievements of our Sixth Formers and would like to wish them all the best as they embark on their various exciting journeys.
Best wishes for a bright future!
